The Law supplements part one of article 6 of the Law “On the Status of
War Veterans and Guarantees of Their Social Protection” with clause 19 of the
following content:
“19) military men of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of
Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, Foreign Intelligence Service of
Ukraine, the State Border Service of Ukraine, senior and junior officers, as
well as military men of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and other
newly established, in line with the laws of Ukraine, units that protected
independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and participated
in the counterterrorist operation.
The list of participants of combat and counterterrorist operations shall
be determined by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.”
The law comes into force, the day following the day of its publication.
